blogging

I have been hearing and reading other people's blogs and I think its partly become a fad to blog these days. I have really been resisting blogging for sometime, but I finally threw in the towel. And anyways I think its a lil stupid to not do something just because others are doing it.

I was talking to a cousin of mine the other day and in the course of the conversation (which of course was about blogging) i told her that... we don't blog for others..in fact we shouldn't. We blog because it is an instrument for creative and personal let outs. It is not something you do for others especially not to impress upon them. And it hit me ..like that's it!!!

I have been avoiding blogging because I so didnt want to do.. what others have been doing. DUH !!! its like cutting of your nose to spite your face. Epiphany ah... WEll may be not so huge, but close.

WEll so here I am .. Blogging ... something I need to do for myself.... Just for me. I actually am not even sure I will be a disciplined blogger. But who cares!!! I dont have a schedule .. I dont need to do anything unless I wanna do it. There is freedom to that thought process. Its frankly liberating!!

So here I go... or rather here I come!!!!
